BREATHWORK GROUP INFORMATION

Please find below important information about what to bring and considerations for safe Breathwork practice.
What to Bring:
Loose fitting, comfortable clothing, such as what you would wear to exercise or a yoga class
Water bottle
Paper and pen for note-taking, if you wish
Yoga mat, bolster, or meditation cushion if you prefer to sit on the ground
Please avoid eating for 2 hours before the session
Do not consume alcohol or use any recreational drugs on the day of the session
Contraindications:
The Breathwork practices we will cover are generally safe for everyone aged 18 and above. However, Breathwork is not recommended for the following:
Pregnant women
Individuals with detached retina or glaucoma
Those with cardiovascular or heart disease, including angina, previous heart attack, or stroke
People with high or low blood pressure
If you have an aneurysm in the brain or abdomen
Uncontrolled thyroid conditions or diabetes
Asthma sufferers
Those who have had recent surgeries or injuries to the ribs, sternum, or spine
Individuals with prior diagnoses of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or psychiatric conditions involving psychosis
Those with untreated PTSD or trauma
People with epilepsy
